Privacy Notice

This notice explains what information the Bluriumverse Service processes, why, and for how long. It forms part of the Terms of Service. Bluriumverse collects only what is needed to run the game service, keep it fair and keep it secure. We do not ask for your real name, email address, phone number or payment details, and we never sell, rent or share your information for advertising.

1. Information we keep

• Account: your username and display name. Your password is never stored in readable form; only a salted, one-way hash is kept.
• Game data: your multiplayer profile, progress, statistics, friends, challenges and in-game messages.
• Races: race results such as racer names, positions, cars, tracks and times.
• Connections: the IP address and times of your game and website connections, used to run sessions and to protect the Service.
• Moderation: to enforce bans, the game client sends hashed identifiers derived from your computer's hardware. Only one-way hashes are stored, never the original values. Moderation actions and their reasons are recorded.

2. Why we use it

To provide your account and online play, to show race history and leaderboards, to prevent cheating, abuse and attacks, to enforce the Rules, and to keep the Service running and recoverable. This processing is necessary to provide the Service you request and serves our legitimate interest in keeping it fair and secure.

3. What is public

Public pages may show your display name, public lobbies and the results of public races. Private lobbies, passwords, IP addresses, hardware identifiers and connection details are never shown publicly.

4. Cookies

The website uses only strictly necessary cookies: a session cookie that keeps you logged in and a security cookie that protects forms. There are no advertising or tracking cookies and no third-party analytics.

5. Where it is kept and for how long

Information is stored on the Bluriumverse server, which is hosted by OVHcloud. Website traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Account and game data are kept while your account exists. Connection records and server logs are kept only as long as needed for security. Backups are kept for a limited period. Hashed identifiers linked to a ban are kept for as long as the ban applies.

6. Your choices

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or the deletion of your account and its data by writing to contact@bluriumverse.com from any address; include your Bluriumverse username. Some information may be kept where it is needed to enforce an existing ban or to protect the Service.

7. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and they should not create an account.

8. Changes

This notice may be updated. The date at the top shows the latest version.
