LEGAL NOTICE
Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 October 2026
These Terms govern access to and use of the Bluriumverse website, accounts, client setup and online game service (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, downloading the client setup or connecting to the Service, you accept these Terms and the Privacy Notice. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
1. Nature of the Service
Bluriumverse is an independent, non-commercial, community-operated project. It is provided free of charge. No fee, subscription, donation or purchase is required or offered in exchange for access. The Service is in closed beta and may change, be interrupted or be discontinued at any time without notice.
2. No distribution of the game
Bluriumverse does not sell, distribute, host, share or make available any copy of the video game Blur, in whole or in part, including its executable files, game data, audio, video, artwork or other assets. You must obtain and use your own lawfully acquired copy of the game. The client setup supports only recognised original builds of the game and does not modify any build it does not recognise. It does not bypass, remove or circumvent any copy protection or licence verification.
3. Independent development and interoperability
The Bluriumverse server software, website and client components were developed independently by the Bluriumverse project. They do not contain source code, binaries, assets or other copyrighted material belonging to Activision, Bizarre Creations, Demonware or any third-party online service or community server. They were created solely to achieve interoperability, so that lawfully owned copies of the game can continue to be used online after the official online services were discontinued.
The client setup acts only on the copy of the game installed on your own computer and only at your request. It changes the two network server addresses inside your local game executable so that the game connects to Bluriumverse, adds the Bluriumverse connection components, and keeps a verified copy of your original executable so that your installation can be restored on request. Nothing is uploaded from your game files.
4. Trademarks and affiliation
Blur, Activision, Bizarre Creations, Demonware and all related names, logos and marks are trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners. They are used on this website solely to identify the game with which the Service is compatible. Bluriumverse is not affiliated with, authorised, sponsored or endorsed by any of these owners, and no such relationship is implied.
5. Rights holders and notices
Bluriumverse respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you hold rights in any material and believe that the Service infringes those rights, please write to contact@bluriumverse.com with a description of the material concerned, the rights claimed and a means of contacting you. Notices made in good faith will be reviewed promptly and, where appropriate, the material concerned will be removed or access to it disabled, without any admission of liability.
6. Your account and conduct
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password confidential. You must follow the Rules. Cheating, manipulating results, interfering with other players, and attacking, flooding or disrupting the Service are prohibited. The administrator may, at their sole discretion and without prior notice, warn, disconnect, suspend or permanently ban any account, and may block computers used by banned accounts, to protect the Service and its players.
7. Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service, of the client setup and of your copy of the game complies with the licence terms that apply to your copy and with the laws of the place where you use them. Use the Service only where doing so is lawful.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service and the client setup are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability or freedom from errors. Use them at your own risk. Keep your own backups of your game and save data.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Bluriumverse project, its administrator and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damage, or for any loss of data, progress, saves or access, arising out of or in connection with the Service or the client setup, even if advised of the possibility of such damage. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Changes and termination
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version; continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. The Service, or your access to it, may be suspended or ended at any time.
11. General
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. A failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Bluriumverse regarding the Service.
